There was a screening for Deathbowl to Downtown yesterday at my school. Everyone should check it out when they can, it's a really great documentary that gives you the WHOLE history of New York City skateboarding, and also really motivates you to go out and accomplish something.
In fact, Lorenzo was so motivated to accomplish something that after the screening he spent about half an hour calling me a bitchass before finally convincing me to get my camera from my dorm (about two blocks from the screening) to make a clip. We skated around Columbia in horrible weather (Max and Jon, you probably forgot what this feels like, you lucky assholes), and this is what we came back with. This one's dedicated to all the dudes that have quit skating in recent years that used to rule (Damon, we're looking at you!).
Priceless youtube links here, here, here, here, here, here (the first 13 seconds only; that was their attempt to make him seem cool, but it's just funny) and here (this one's old but it's too good to not put in). Some (re: all) of these are old but deserved revisiting.
